Falconwood Chase

The clients for this project wanted to create a private retreat for escape and relaxation by extending their existing, recently built, traditional house.  Their desire was for a modern, minimal look that made the most of rural views to the rear of the plot.

The design includes: a swimming pool; spa; shower room; sun room; and plant space, configured to fill in an otherwise un-useable wedge of garden between the house and the garage.  Modern materials are used to create the impression of a simple, restful space.  A large, glazed, south-facing wall gives a generous rear aspect that can be opened up to make the pool feel as though it is part of the garden.
